Where are you located?
We are located at the former Slainte/Catwalk building at 34 Union Street in Downtown New Bedford.
Do I need a reservation?
WE DO NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS. You can call ahead if you have a party of more than 6 people so we can try to accommodate you, but all seating is first come first serve.
Do you have any outdoor seating?
YES. We have a phenomenal roof deck with views of the harbor. Outdoor seating is seasonal and weather dependent.
Can I book Play for a birthday party or private event?
Yes! We do host kids birthday parties and have kids party packages available. We can also do adult parties but only at specific times. Please check out our parties/events page here on the website to send us your inquiry.
How far in advance should I reach out about booking a party?
If you have a specific date in mind, the earlier the better! We are currently booking about 6 weeks out.
What are your hours?
Our current open hours are:
Wednesday 5PM - midnight
Thursday 5PM midnight
Friday 5pm - midnight
Saturday Noon - midnight
Sunday Noon - 9PM
We are currently closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.
What games do you have?
We will be constantly updating and changing our games, but please see our current list on our website HERE.
How are games played?
All of our games are token operated. The games take two to four tokens per play. Tokens are valued at $0.25 each. We have cash-operated token machines located throughout the arcade rooms and tokens can also be purchased from the bar and added to your bill in $10 increments. There is also an ATM onsite.
Can I bring in my coffee?
WE CANNOT ALLOW ANY OUTSIDE BEVERAGES! Please drink your coffee, etc. prior to coming in to visit us.
Are all ages welcome?
All ages are welcome from open-8pm. We are 21+ after 8pm.
What types of payments are accepted?
We accept cash, all major credit cards and debit cards. We have an ATM on site.
What type of food do you have?
Please feel free to check out our menu HERE. We serve delicious scratch-made pizza and sandwiches. We also have a great selection of vegan/vegetarian food! We strive to accommodate those with food sensitivities and allergies.
Can we come to Play for our bar crawl?
If you are thinking of stopping in for a bar crawl PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST during your planning process (email lauren@playarcadenb.com). We sometimes have other events booked and want to be sure we can accommodate you. Please note that we check all ID’s at the door prior to entering and we have the right to refuse entry to anyone that we feel is overserved. We will also not allow more guests inside than our legal capacity allows and cannot guarantee space for a large group at any given time during our open hours.
